Past and Present is an Audio Visual Presentation tracing the origins of the Caradon Railway and its direct association with the copper mines and granite quarries situated around the Caradon Hill District and also the Liskeard and Looe Union Canal, Later to become the Liskeard and Looe Railway.

David Hambly was so intrigued that the original horse drawn railway was once navigated through his home village of St. Cleer that during the 1970's he set about tracing and photographing the route from Moorswater to the Cheesewring and beyond. Old Photographs help to reveal a fascinating story of remarkable engineering acheivement and the impact it had on local communities during the boom and bust mining era of the 1800's.
